照明はONとOFFで二面性があるほど、美しい。

生命（Leven）の象徴である光が翼となり、空中に浮遊する光をデザインした。
上部の反射板を異なる曲率の二枚の薄い曲面で作り、端部を溶接することでその構造は保たれる。真正面から見た時には、極力薄く作られた反射板のせいでその存在感は消える。そしてその存在感の無い部分に光を照らすことで、その存在は一気に反転する。一枚の反射板に光を当てるより、二枚の反射板の内側に光を当てることで、光がお互いに反射し合い、より存在感の強い光へと変化する。

生命とは、深遠なる空虚を照らす希望のようなものである。

「ALUMINA」（アルミニウムの椅子シリーズ）で実験してきた薄い二枚の曲面で成り立たせる構造の可能性を照明に応用したもので、今回は、アルミニウムより真鍮の方が、温かな光との相性が良いと判断した。
机の上や棚に置けるようなサイズとして制作したが、今後はサイズのヴァリエーションを増やしていく予定である。

Lighting fixture is beautiful when it has two sides: ON and OFF.

Light, a symbol of life, becomes wings, and the design evokes light floating in the air.
The upper reflector is made of two thin curved surfaces with different curvatures, and its structure is maintained by welding the ends. When viewed from directly in front, its presence disappears due to the extremely thin reflector. However, by illuminating this empty space, its presence is dramatically reversed. By shining light on the inside of the two reflectors rather than a single reflector, the light reflects off each other, transforming into a more strong presence.

Life is like a glimmer of hope illuminating a profound emptiness.

This lighting fixture applies the possibilities of a structure made up of two thin, curved surfaces, which I experimented with in "ALUMINA" aluminum chair series. This time, I determined that brass works better than aluminum for creating a warm light.

I created it in a size suitable for placing on a desk or shelf, but I plan to increase the size variations in the future.
