その昔、我々の祖先は一本の柱を大地に建てることから、場の構築を始めた。
それは、誰か大切な人が亡くなったことを祈念するものであり、その目印でもあった。

柱を建てるということは、大地の上で存在する生物を天と繋げる行為であり、「はし・ら」の言葉の由来でもある。
柱を立てるということは、単なる目印以上に、死者を天におくる行為でもあり、祖先を敬い、その祖先を守り続けてきた大地や自然に感謝と祈りを込める行為であります。そしてそれは、大地の尊さ、天の尊さ、今を生きる我々の生命を尊ぶことを改めて可視化することである。

Erecting a pillar is more than just a marker. It is an act of sending the deceased to heaven, an act of respecting our ancestors, and an act of gratitude and prayer to the earth and nature that have protected them.

It is a way of visualizing once again the preciousness of the earth, the preciousness of heaven, and the preciousness of our own lives that we live in the present.
