2018年から菊川工業株式会社とのコラボレーションで制作しているアルミニウムを使用した実験的な家具プロジェクト。「Art x Technology beyond Design」をキーワードに、アルミニウムという再生可能な材料を使用し最先端の金属加工技術を応用することで、単なる造形美や単なる機能美を追求するのではなく、形と機能がギリギリ成立する臨界点を模索することで、アートとデザインの境界を乗り越えようとするもの。
This is an experimental furniture project using aluminum that has been produced in collaboration with Kikukawa Kogyo Co., Ltd. since 2018.
With the keyword "Art x Technology beyond Design", we try to overcome the boundary between art and design by using aluminum, which is a renewable material, and applying cutting-edge metal processing technology, rather than simply pursuing the beauty of form and functionality.
